We come to know from the book Hayat-e-Tayyaba that due to some reasons, Jalsa Salana Qadian of 1898 could not be held during the Christmas holidays. (Hayat-e-Tayyaba, p. 237)

Later, this Jalsa was held. Hazrat Hakim Maulvi Nuruddin (ra) delivered a speech, titled Zarurat-e-Khilafat (The Need for Khilafat). (Hayat-e-Nur, p. 239)
