The Jalsa Salana Qadian of 1897 took place at the Aqsa Mosque, Qadian, India from 25 December 1897 to 1 January 1898.

The first speech of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as), the Promised Messiah, was held on 25 December. He spoke about righteousness, and presented a few incidents from the life of the Holy Prophet (sa) and his companions (ra). He also mentioned the misconceptions regarding Jihad and drew a comparison between the Mosaic Messiah and the Muhammadan Messiah. He also narrated the signs in support of the Muhammadan Messiah. The second speech of Hazrat Ahmad (as) was held on 28 December. He gave the members guidance concerning the existence of God, the need for revelations, the excellence of the Holy Quran, the acquisition of modern science and the importance of presenting that science in light of the teachings of Islam. He also presented some of the miracles of the Holy Prophet (sa). (Malfuzat, Vol. 1, pp. 51-105)

Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) delivered the third speech on 30 December. He spoke about the conditions of the fulfilment of prayer, three conditions of man’s nafs (soul), the purpose of man’s creation and the conditions of repentance. He also reminded the Jamaat to instil good morals. (Malfuzat, Vol. 1, pp. 105-151)

Hazrat Hakim Maulvi Nuruddin (ra) and Hazrat Maulvi Abdul Karim Sialkoti (ra) also delivered their speeches. (Hayat-e-Nur, p. 232)
