On 25 December 1906, Anjuman Tash-heez-ul-Azhan held a convention which was reported by Badr Qadian, on 27 December 1906.
Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as), the Promised Messiah, came for a walk on 26 December. People came in masses, and everyone was trying their best to see Hazrat Ahmad (as).
Zuhr and Asr prayers were combined in the Aqsa Mosque after which Hazrat Ahmad (as) stood at the doorway and delivered a speech. Huzoor (as) discussed the meaning behind the declaration of faith (Kalima Tayyibah) and how to live according to it. He also called the attention of members towards following the other articles of faith as well. Huzoor (as) could not complete this speech due to illness, so he continued his speech on the next day, 27 December, after Zuhr and Asr prayers.
Hazrat Hakim Maulvi Nuruddin (ra) spoke on the topic of the need for an Imam.
On 28 December the Sadr Anjuman Ahmadiyya held a general meeting in the Aqsa Mosque, in which the yearly report and the budget was presented.
Hazrat Mirza Bashiruddin Mahmud Ahmad (ra), delivered a speech before the Friday prayer on the topic of Shirk and how it can be eradicated. This was his first speech in a gathering of this size.
Then, Hazrat Hakim Maulvi Nuruddin (ra) delivered a speech before the Friday prayer, in which he shed light on the aims and objectives of Tash-heez-ul-Azhan. After the Friday prayer, he delivered another speech on the instruction of Hazrat Ahmad (as), in which he spoke about the means of attaining righteousness.
Many people took the Bai’at during the Jalsa, and a Bai’at ceremony was held on each day of the Jalsa.
