The Ahmadiyya Archive & Research Centre was established by Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (aa), Khalifatul Masih V, in October 2014 with the objective to collate and preserve the history of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat.

Having survived many decades, a huge number of historic documents have become fragile and need to be rescued immediately. This cause remains the raison de'tre of Ahmadiyya ARC, with preserving autograph documents of the Promised Messiah (as) and his Khulafa being paramount.

All conservation work is carried out by professional conservators at studios in Central London of a remarkable reputation for their works with the likes of British Museum and other repositories of international renown. Documents are then stored in a professionally prescribed atmosphere.

Ahmadiyya ARC strives to obtain and collect any document that could be of historic importance for the Jamaat. Records are obtained from all national chapters of the Jamaat and preserved centrally.

An objective that remains at the heart of Ahmadiyya ARC is to bring the Jamaat's archives out of boxes and shelves to allow the general public to benefit from the treasures therein. Articles detailing the importance of such documents are written and published in the Jamaat's newspapers like Al Hakam and Al Fazl showing images of the document in question.

To make the archive even more beneficial, Ahmadiyya ARC gets in contact with scholars, academics and university students known for their work on Islam. They are invited to get in touch with Ahmadiyya ARC to obtain first-hand information about the Jamaat and the view the primary sources of its history.

The research wing of Ahmadiyya ARC continuously works on bringing to life the long-buried information that could have any relevance to the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat.
