Maulvi Muhammad Fazal Khan of Changa Bangial, Rawalpindi district was one of the earliest to take the pledge of allegiance.
He wrote numerous learned books on Islam. He translated Al- Futuhat al-Makkiya by Ibn Arabi and some of his other works. His most important original contribution to Muslim literature is his book Asrar-e Shari'at.
Maulvi Fazal Khan left the Ahmadiyya community and announced it in the Ahl-e-Hadith newspaper in September 1937. He also used inappropriate language against Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as).
He passed away shortly after, in June 1938.
