Hazrat Mirza Aziz Ahmad (ra) was the grandson of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as). He was the son of Hazrat Mirza Sultan Ahmad and was born on 3 October 1890.
On 20 October 1899, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) saw in a dream a boy whose name was Aziz and his father’s name began with Sultan. Hazrat Ahmad (as) states that the boy was brought before him and was seated before him. He noticed that the boy was slim and had a fair complexion. (Tadhkirah, p. 447)
Hazrat Mirza Aziz Ahmad pledged allegiance to Hazrat Ahmad (as) in 1906. He married twice. The first marriage took place in January 1911 with Sharifa Begum. After the demise of his first wife, he married to Syeda Naseera Begum, in February 1930.
Throughout his life, he held several governmental positions. He had the opportunity to serve as the Nazir-e-Aala for 20 years. After the demise of Hazrat Mirza Bashiruddin Mahmud Ahmad (ra), Khalifatul Masih II, the session of Khilafat Committee was presided by Hazrat Mirza Aziz Ahmad (ra).
He passed away on 25 January 1973 and was buried in Rabwah.
