Hazrat Hafiz Haji Maulvi Ahmadullah Khan (ra) was originally from Amritsar. He moved out of Amritsar and settled in Sadr, a place in Peshawar.
He was under Hazrat Maulvi Ghulam Hussain Peshawari’s influence, from whom he was inclined towards Ahmadiyyat. After completing his research, he pledged his allegiance to Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as), and from Peshawar, migrated to Qadian. Prior to bai’at, he was an Imam of Ahle-Hadith. Once after the Asr prayer, Hazrat Ahmadullah Khan informed Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as), that a cleric in Amritsar filed a lawsuit of attempted murder against him.
In the Book Tohfa-e-Qaisariyyah (a gift for the Queen) and Kitabul-Bariyyah (the acquittal), his name is written among the pious members of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as). Further, in Nurul-Quran, number 2 (the light of the Quran), his name is written among the ardent companion of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as).
He passed away on 15 October 1926.
