Malik Saif-ur-Rahman was born in 1912. 

In 1934, when there was a big conference of Majlis-e-Ahrar in Qadian, Malik Saif-ur-Rahman was the general secretary of an auxiliary organization of the Ahrar. Therefore he was a leading figure in opposition to Ahmadiyyat. During that time, some curiosity arose in his heart to go around Qadian and to witness the situation and the activities. 

When he entered the Ahmadiyya Basti through the Hindu Bazaar, he decided to visit the ​​Bahishti Maqbarah. When he reached the grave of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as), the Promised Messiah, he prayed that 'O Most Gracious God! If this person is truthful, then guide me.' After that he returned to his place, but his heart inclined towards Ahmadiyyat. After much research and discussions, his heart testified to the truthfulness of Hazrat Ahmad (as).

He attended the Jalsa Salana Qadian of 1935, and on 1 January 1936, pledged allegiance at the hand of Hazrat Mirza Bashiruddin Mahmud Ahmad (ra), Khalifatul Masih II.

Malik Saif-ur-Rahman used to teach Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad (rh) in Qadian and then in Lahore as well. 

Malik Saif-ur-Rahman served the Jamaat in various capacities, including Mufti-e-Silsila, and principal Jamia Ahmadiyya. Hew was a very well established scholar of Islam and his writings are vast. He passed away in 1989.
