Hazrat Sarwar Sultan (ra) (d. 1 February 1970) was the daughter-in-law of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the Promised Messiah (as) and wife of Hazrat Mirza Bashir Ahmad (ra).

Early Life and Marriage

Hazrat Sarwar Sultan (ra) was born to Maulana Hasan Khan Niazi of Peshawar. In May 1906, she married Hazrat Mirza Bashir Ahmad MA (ra), the son of the Promised Messiah (as). Hazrat Sarwar Sultan (ra) is also known within the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community as Umme-Muzaffar, signifying her as the mother of Mirza Muzaffar Ahmad (MM Ahmad).

Faith and Dedication

Despite facing some trials, Hazrat Sarwar Sultan (ra) remained steadfast in her faith in Islam Ahmadiyyat and remained attahched to Khilafat-e-Ahmadiyyat throughout her life. She spent over half a century with her husband, Hazrat Mirza Bashir Ahmad MA (ra), in a marriage marked by harmony. Throughout her life, she played a crucial role in the spiritual upbringing of her children.

Family

Hazrat Sarwar Sultan (ra) and Hazrat Mirza Bashir Ahmad MA (ra) had a large family, comprising nine children – five sons and four daughters. Her devotion to her family and Community is remembered by those who knew her and is celebrated within the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.

Demise

Hazrat Sarwar Sultan (ra) passed away on 1 February 1970. Her janazah prayer was led by Hazrat Mirza Nasir Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih III (rh). She was buried in Bahishti Maqbarah in Rabwah, next to her husband.
