Hazrat Pir Iftikhar Ahmad (ra) was the son of Sufi Ahmad Jan of Ludhiana.
He first met with Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) in 1884 and in 1891 he came to Qadian for Bashir Awal’s Aqiqa and took Bai’at. His number in the register of Bai’at is 140. His wife, Malika Jaan took Bai’at on 16 Apirl 1892 and her number in the Bai’at Register is 328. In 1901, he took residence in Qadian and assisted Hazrat Maulvi Abdul Karim Sialkoti (ra) in correspondence till 1927. Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) mentioned his name in his books, Asmani Faislah, Aina-e-Kamalat-e-Islam, Tohfa-e-Qaisariyyah, Kitab-ul-Bariyyah and Nur-ul-Quran 2.
Hazrat Pir Iftikhar Ahmad (ra) in the beginning was a teacher in Qadian but later Hazrat Maulvi Abdul Karim Sialkoti (ra), with the permission of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as), appointed him as a clerk of his holiness for the department of Langar, school funds and correspondence.
He passed away on 8 January 1951 and was buried in Bahishti Maqbarah Qadian.
