Hazrat Mirza Sharif Ahmad (ra) was a son of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as), born on 24 May 1895. He was the paternal grandfather of Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (aa), Khalifatul Masih V.

He was a very technical minded person. He was a very quiet and soft-spoken person; he spoke very little. Hazrat Mirza Bashiruddin Mahmud Ahmad (ra) once said that of the three brothers, Hazrat Mirza Sharif Ahmad (ra) resembled Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) in terms of looks and personality the most. He also became Aseer-e-Raah-e-Maula in 1953. He was married to Bu Zainab Begum.

He passed away on 26 December 1961.
