Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) started writing this book in 1888 but he did not complete it till the time he had a Divine sign about the Promised Son. The book contains thirty-seven prophecies about himself, his Companions and about leaders of different faiths.
The Book
The book deals with more than thirty prophecies of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as). Particularly prophecies which were made by him in regard to ‘Abdullah Atham and Pandit Lekh Ram’s death were literally fulfilled. Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) said that he would like to mention the names of those Muslim clerics who, like the Aryas, were bewildered by the accurate fulfilment of the Divine word and were utterly devoid of spirituality and were befogged by doubts. They would find it worthwhile to read this book. The book also contains in detail the prophecies relating to his son (Hazrat Mirza Bashiruddin Mahmud Ahmad (ra), the Musleh-e-Maud). At the end of the book, a complete correspondence between Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) and Hazrat Khawaja Ghulam Farid of Bahawalpur (a leading divine) is included. In one of the letters to Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as), Hazrat Khawaja Ghulam Farid said: “O my dear brother, you should know that from the very beginning, I have had great respect and regard for you. I have never said anything about you except words of respect and reverence. Through this letter, I inform you and acknowledge you to be a divinely inspired man. The efforts that you are making for Islam are indeed praiseworthy.” (Taken from An Introduction to the hidden Treasures of Islam)
