Hazrat Saleha Begum (ra), was the daughter of Hazrat Pir Manzur Muhammad (ra), and granddaughter of Hazrat Sufi Ahmad Jan. Hazrat Saleha Begum (ra) was born on 12 January 1897. 

In her childhood, Hazrat Saleha Begum (ra) was trained directly by Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as), the Promised Messiah, and then by Hazrat Hakim Maulvi Nuruddin (ra), Khalifatul Masih I. 

To teach Hazrat Saleha Begum (ra) the Holy Quran, her father, Hazrat Pir Manzur Muhammad (ra), wrote Yassarnal-Quran.

Hazrat Saleha Begum (ra) was fluent in Arabic and Persian and studied hadith as well. She took the maulvi fazil exam and attained the first position in Punjab. 

Hazrat Saleha Begum (ra) got married to Hazrat Mir Muhammad Ishaq (ra) in 1906. This marriage took place on the basis of a dream Hazrat Ahmad (as) had seen.

Hazrat Saleha Begum (ra) was among the 13 founding members of the Lajna Imaillah. Her whole life was spent in the education and training of Ahmadi women. She taught the Holy Quran to hundreds of children.

Hazrat Mir Muhammad Ishaq (ra) was the headmaster of the Madrasa-e-Ahmadiyya and the superintendent of Dar-ul-Shayookh, a care centre established for orphans and needy people in the Jamaat. Thus, Hazrat Saleha Begum (ra) gave and provided motherly love to many orphans. 

She served in many capacities in various lajna offices in the Jamaat. In spite of all her responsibilities, she used to make time for travel and exercise. She traveled to many cities and places. She used to go on picnics with her children near Qadian and teach them about religion. She would also cycle and loved to play badminton. 

Hazrat Saleha Begum (ra) had three sons and four daughters.

Hazrat Saleha Begum (ra) passed away on 8 September 1953.
