The year 1939 marked the completion of 50 years since the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat’s establishment and 25 years of the second Khilafat. 

On the occasion of Jalsa Salana Qadian 1939, the Khilafat Jubilee was celebrated. To mark this occasion, the Liwa-e-Ahmadiyyat was prepared and it was hoisted for the first time on 28 December 1939.

Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya had also prepared Liwa-e-Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya.

On the same day, after hoisting the Liwa-e-Ahmadiyyat, Hazrat Mirza Bashiruddin Mahmud Ahmad (ra), Khalifatul Masih II, hoisted the Liwa-e-Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya as well.

Liwa-e-Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya is 18 feet long and 9 feet wide. It consists of Liwa-e-Ahmadiyyat on the upper left, and thirteen black and while stripes.
