Hazrat Mir Nasir Nawab (ra) was born in 1845 or 1846. His father, Khawaja Nasir Amir was the gaddi-nashin (successor) of Khawaja Mir Dard (rh). 

Hazrat Mir Nasir Nawab (ra) was just a child when his father passed away. 

During the mutiny of 1857, his whole family had to leave Delhi, and his mother picked up only the Holy Quran from the house. Hazrat Mir Nasir Nawab's maternal uncle called them to Panipat, where he was working as the Deputy Collector.

The family then returned to Delhi two and a half years later and his mother sent him to Gurdaspur district for education, where he joined the Ahl-e-Hadith school of thought and refused to study English.

When Hazrat Mir Nasir Nawab (ra) returned to Delhi, he married into a Saadaat family. 

He then studied for one year in Lahore and worked as an overseer in Amritsar.

After three years of marriage, a daughter was born to him, named Syeda Nusrat Jehan (ra), who was later married to Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as), the Promised Messiah. 

Around 1881, Hazrat Mir Nasir Nawab (ra) stayed in Qadian for some time for his wife's treatment. During that time, he had the opportunity to notice Hazrat Ahmad (as) closely and found him very pious and virtuous.

In 1884, Hazrat Mir Nasir Nawab's daughter, Hazrat Syeda Nusrat Jehan (ra) was married to Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as).

When Hazrat Ahmad (as) took Bai'at for the first time in 1889, Hazrat Mir Nasir Nawab (ra) did not pledge allegiance, and also stopped coming to Qadian. 

After receiving several letters of invitation from Hazrat Ahmad (as) to attend the Jalsa Salana of 1892, he visited Qadian and pledged allegiance as well. 

Shortly afterwards, he retired from his job and settled in Qadian.

Hazrat Mir Nasir Nawab (ra) was completely devoted to the service of Islam Ahmadiyyat. When Madrasa Talim-ul-Islam was started in 1898, he was appointed as the Nazim of the Madrasa. He was able to oversee many construction jobs as well. 

Moreover, he also engaged himself in many humanitarian services as well.

Hazrat Mir Nasir Nawab (ra) passed away on 19 December 1924.
