Ṣadr Anjuman Aḥmadiyya was established in Qādiān (India) in 1906 by the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him) himself. The purpose was to create a body to administer the funds and to propagate to the whole world the message of Islām and belief in the Unity of God and to do things incidental to these broad objects. The Anjuman worked under his direct supervision and was answerable to him. Since his demise, the Anjuman has been working under the supervision of his Khulafā’ (i.e. successors).
