Khilafat-e-Ahmadiyya (Urdu: خلافت احمدیہ)

After the demise of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) on 26 May 1908, Khilafat-e-Ahmadiyya was established on 27 May 1908, and Hazrat Hakim Maulvi Nuruddin (ra) was elected as the Khalifatul Masih I.

The Khalifa is the spiritual leader of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. The fifth and the current Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (aa).

This khilafat is what the Holy Prophet (sa) foretold that would be established in the latter days. It is not a temporal khilafat but a spiritual one that aims to win hearts through the spiritual power of Islam. 

Khilafat-e-Ahmadiyya, right from its inception in 1908, has been a champion of Allah's true message, human rights and justice. It calls the world to Islam as the only means of salvation from all evils faced by the world.
