Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad dreamt of a heart institute that would be a service to mankind all over the world. However, he passed away before that dream became a reality. It was then taken up by Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih V (aa) who nurtured it to completion in 2007.
The Tahir Heart Institute is located in the compound of Fazl-e-Umar Hospital, Rabwah, spread over a covered area of 1,20,457 square feet. Its outpatients' ward was opened to patients on 15 September 2007, while the inpatients and Emergency Department opened on 1 October 2007.
The hospital is equipped with modern, state-of-the-art facilities and its able doctors look after the countless patients with utmost care regardless of their background, creed, or religion.
The hospital is headed by an Administrator who works under the supervision of Naẓārat Ṣeḥat.
