This institution successfully functioned until 1947. (Tarikh-e-Ahmadiyyat, Vol. 8, p. 67)

Then, during the Khilafat of Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad (rh), Khalifatul Masih IV, the central Majlis-e-Shura presented few proposals to Huzoor (rh) for establishing an institution to teach technical and industrial talents to the unemployed youth in Rabwah.

Therefore, a technical training institute was established under the supervision of Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya Pakistan, and Huzoor (rh) named it Darul Sanaa'at.
