Sialkot is a city in Punjab, Pakistan. It is the capital city of Sialkot District and is Pakistan's 13th most populated city, located in north-east Punjab.

The city of Sialkot holds a distinct privilege and honour among cities in the subcontinent, which is that Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as), the Promised Messiah and Mahdi, resided there for around seven years and he called it his second home (after Qadian). It is probably the only city, after Qadian, where he lived for such a long period.  In Life of Ahmad, it is stated that he was employed in the court as a reader. (Life of Ahmad, AR Dard, p. 47).

Hazrat Maulvi Abdul Karim Sialkoti (ra) and Hazrat Sir Chaudhry Zafarullah Khan (ra), two well-known companions of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as), also belonged to Sialkot.
