A city and the headquarter of the Multan division located in Punjab, Pakistan. Situated on the bank of the Chenab River, Multan is Pakistan’s 7th largest city and is the major cultural and economic centre of southern Punjab.

Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) visited Multan in 1897. He was shown a vision where he was summoned to the court by a soldier. This vision was related to the members of the community prior to any indication of a court summoning. Soon after a soldier came with a summon for Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) in Multan. On this visit, he is also said to have visited the mosque in Multan where Guru Baba Nanak used to worship.
