Al-Taqwa is a monthly magazine published in the Arabic language from London by the Arabic Desk. It was started by Ḥaḍrat Khalīfatul Masīḥ IV on 12th January 1988. The main aim of this magazine is to maintain a link between the Arab Aḥmadīs with Khilāfat, to keep them informed of Jamā‘at news, to fulfil their needs for education & training, as well as to spread the message of Aḥmadiyyat, the true Islām, in the Arab world and to convey to them the true Islāmic position on day to day issues. Since the year 2000, the magazine has been made available on the internet.

In June 2006, an edition of Al-Taqwa is being published from Burkina Faso. On 14th June 2019, the website www.altaqwa.net of monthly Al-Taqwa magazine was launched by Ḥaḍrat Khalīfatul Masīḥ V.

Al-Hajj Muhammad Hilmi Shafi also served as the editor of this magazine. 

The Monthly Al-Taqwa consists of some regular columns and articles as well as sayings of the Holy Prophet (sa), extracts from the books of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as), the Promised Messiah, and the Sermons of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih (aa). 

Its aims are to spread the message of Islam Ahmadiyyat to the Arab nations and to respond to the allegations raised against the beautiful teachings of Islam. 

Once an opponent of the Jamaat, Maulvi Ehsan Ilahi Zaheer wrote a book titled 'Qadianiyyat', which was widely distributed among the Arab nations. In response, Naeem Usman Memon wrote a reply to this book in the English language, under the guidance of Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (aa), Khalifatul Masih V. Its Arabic translation was published in parts by The Monthly Al-Taqwa.

On another occasion, a Christian community had issued a pamphlet in the French language that attempted to prove Jesus (as) greater than the Holy Prophet (sa). The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community prepared a pamphlet in response, which was published by The Monthly Al-Taqwa in April 1995 issue.
