On 1 March 1906, the young Mirza Bashiruddin Mahmud Ahmad (ra) started the publication of a magazine, “Tash-heezul Azhan”, with the permission of his father, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as).
The purpose of this periodical was to educate Ahmadi youth on Islamic teachings. A public library was also established in 1908 by him under the name Anjuman Tasheez al-Azhan. Several people donated money and books for this project.
